Morbid Mortality Monthly - November

We've never trusted sheep. Oh they might come across all woolly and stupid, but we've always had a suspicion that beneath the merry, bleating exteriors beat the hearts of cold, calculating killers.

Our suspicions were proved correct in 1999 when 67-year-old farmer Betty Stobbs delivered a bale of hay to her flock on the back of her motorcycle. Sensing weakness, 40 of the flock rushed Ms Stobbs, knocking her over a cliff into a 100 foot deep quarry. Miraculously she survived the fall... so the evil ovines finished the job by pushing the motorcycle down on top of her.

Taken from "1001 Ridiculous Ways To Die" (2008) by David Southwell & Matt Adams
