Meat Of The Week #55

MEAT OF THE WEEK

Meat Of The Week #55: Potted Meat. This inexpensive meat product is available at almost any North American grocery store. However, when it comes to grossness, this well-known product rivals anything you’ll find in a third world country. A check of the ingredients listed on the label is proof enough: mechanically separated chicken, beef tripe, partially defatted cooked beef fatty tissue, beef hearts, water, partially defatted cooked pork fatty tissue, salt, and less than 2 percent: mustard, natural flavorings, dried garlic, dextrose, sodium erythorbate, and sodium nitrite. Yummy!

Morbid Mortality Monthly - January

When you are out in the post Christmas sales, be very careful. Granny Vera Longfield, 86, died after being run down in a supermarket by a toddler pushing a shopping trolley. Vera was shopping at a store in Lancashire, on the 4th of January 2006, when a youngster steered a trolley into a 6 foot high steel stock cage, ramming it into the pensioner and breaking her hip. She died in hospital two days later.
